I don't like Halloween. I just am not into all the scary things that go along with Halloween. It is probably my least favorite holiday. However, I love Fall decorations. (Weird, I know!) Here are a few things (from Pottery Barn) that I found for Halloween and Fall.

Kitchen Accessories
I have mentioned before that I love Pottery Barn. Here are a few things that I found and I am putting on my wish list when we move into a house and I can decorate until my hearts content.

Warm Chocolate Melting Cake
This is the recipe for the chocolate cake that they serve on the Carnival Cruise Ship.
8 oz. Semisweet Chocolate
2 sticks, Butter
7 Eggs
6 tbsp. Sugar
1/2 c. Flour
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Melt chocolate and butter and cool for 10 minutes. In a separate bowl mix 4 eggs with sugar. Whisk together. Add flour and whisk together. Add remaining 3 eggs, and whisk together. Add egg mixture to the chocolate mixture. Coat each ramekin with butter to keep the cak from sticking. Pour the entire mixture into individual ramekins. Fill the ramekins about 2/3 full. The cake will expand a little. (If you don't want to use all of the batter, then store it in a tupperware container in the refrigerator.) Place the cakes on a baking sheet and bake for about 15 to 20, depending on the size. Cakes should come out dark and a little glossy in the center, but the outer rim should be cooked through. Top each cake off with a little powder sugar and serve with vanilla ice cream. Serve the cake right out of the oven.

Empanada's Recipe
2 Hard Boiled Eggs, chopped
Green Olives, chopped
1 lbs. Ground Beef
1/2 Onion, copped
Salt
Pepper
Paprika
Cook ground beef and onion. Season with salt, pepper and paprika (however much you want). Place meat in a bowl and cool off in the refrigerator (you can make this the day before). Chop the eggs and green olives and place them in seperate bowls.
Gently wet the edges of the empanada dough and fill the dough with meat, olives and egg. Fold the dough in half and pinch the ends closed. Twist the edges a little to ensure that the dough is completely closed. Evenly space them on a baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly golden brown. Serve them hot!

For the Love of Handbags
I am in love.... with Michael Kors handbags. It was love at first site. We first met at the Brea Mall a few months ago. I was walking by and saw this beautiful dark blue bag in the window. Of course I can't purchase one because they are extremely expensive, but one day I will have one. I have been keeping an eye on some of his new models and these three are my favorites.
Decorative Word Picture
I am always looking for some cute art project to help make our small living space more beautiful. I came across this and I look forward to making it (once I get more time from my baby rag quilts). Please click 'HERE' for directions on how to create this.
